October – December 2025

This comparison will be available in your personal online environment. There you can see what the transition to the new system means for your pension. A comparison is made between the current (is) and new (will be) situation. We will do this a few months before the introduction of the new pension system.

August – October 2025

You will receive information from us about all the ins and outs of the new system. You will see in broad terms what this means for you. You will also see when you can expect your personal information.

January 2024 – July 2025

It is important that we communicate clearly during the transition to the new system. Therefore, we test our message with different target groups through our customer panel. We then adjust our communication if necessary. We regularly measure the confidence in the new system and the extent to which you are familiar with the new system by conducting various surveys. We started doing this since January 2024.

February 2024

The agreements made by employers' and employees' organisations for the new pension system are included in the transition plan. In the implementation plan, Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering has elaborated on the preparations required for the introduction of the new agreements. These include, for example, the technical feasibility, the costs together with the risks of implementing the pension system and the risk management measures that are being taken. The communication plan is part of the implementation plan and indicates how and when Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering will communicate about the new system. The implementation plan and communication plan have been submitted to the supervisory authority DNB. The communication plan has also been submitted to the supervisory authority AFM.

December 2023

The Future Pensions Act means that the current pension systems must be converted to the new pension systems that comply with the new law by 2028 at the latest. Employers' and employees' organisations in the hospitality and contract catering industry considered it important to agree on a new pension system quickly. That is why they made agreements on a new pension system at the end of 2023. Our pension system will probably come into effect on January 1, 2026.
